Vayu’s 2nd birthday was celebrated at Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport in the Razzle & Dazzle room, with around 50 guests coming together for a fun family celebration. The room was beautifully set up with decorations by Millie Creative and a kids’ play area by The Good Party Co, creating a colourful and playful space for the children to enjoy.

I arrived early so we could take a few family photos before the party started, along with some detail shots of the decorations and setup. It also gave me time to photograph Vayu while he was playing and settling into the space. He warmed up quickly, which made it really nice to capture some natural photos of him just being himself before the room became busier.

Once guests arrived, the day flowed into kids playing, family moments, cake cutting, and lunch. The family was incredibly welcoming, and the whole celebration had a relaxed, happy feel from start to finish. It was a lovely birthday to photograph, with a mix of portraits, candid moments, decorations, and all the little details that make a second birthday so special.
