Growing up, my dad was always the one behind the camera, capturing birthdays, family gatherings, and all the normal everyday moments. I probably didn’t realise it at the time, but those photos became some of the memories I appreciate the most now.
I’m based in Auckland, originally from Wellington, and I’m married to my wife Karishma. During the day, I work as a software test lead, so I’m pretty used to noticing the small details. Photography gives me a different way to use that same eye, but in a more creative and personal way.
I like to keep shoots relaxed and easy. I know not everyone feels natural in front of a camera (myself included), so I’ll guide you when needed, but I’m also looking for those genuine moments in between. The laughs, the quiet bits, the family chaos, the little reactions, that’s usually where the best photos happen.
Outside of work and photography, I’m usually out for a walk, playing field hockey, working on something around the house, or planning the next little project. This website is actually one of those projects too, built by me as a way to share my work properly.
For me, photography is still about the same thing it was when I first picked up a camera, capturing memories that people can look back on later and actually feel something from.
Lets make some memories.
