This couples session with Amish & Komal was meant to be a classic sunset shoot, clear skies all day, everything looking perfect. Then right before golden hour… a massive cloud rolled in out of nowhere and blocked the sun completely. Luckily, it didn’t really matter.

These two were super easy going and just fun to work with, which always makes the biggest difference. We made our way up the hill (short walk, but definitely steep), and the view at the top made it worth it straight away. Even without the sunset, the location still gave us a really clean, natural backdrop, perfect for the kind of relaxed, candid photos we were going for.

After the shoot, Komal mentioned they were already planning their pre-wedding events later in the year and joked that they’d have to fight over who gets to book me, which honestly made my day.

Sometimes things don’t go to plan, but this was one of those shoots where it all came together anyway.
