Ahan’s 2nd birthday was celebrated at his family home in Auckland, with a marquee set up in the backyard, colourful decorations, a kids’ play area, and fresh food being cooked on-site. Even though it was the day of Cyclone Vaianu, the storm didn’t stop everyone from showing up and making it a fun, full celebration.

We started with a few family photos before guests arrived, then the day naturally moved into kids playing, family moments, cake cutting, food, and goodie bags at the end. Around ten kids came along, so there was plenty of movement, energy, and little moments to capture throughout the party.

The decorations were done by Millie Creative, the play area was by The Good Party Co, catering was by Curry & Craft Indian in Drury, and the cake was made by K Cake. It was a warm, lively backyard birthday celebration and a lovely reminder that even stormy weather can still make for a memorable day.
